Every Us is a NYC-based music collective creating emotionally resonant music rooted in togetherness, community, and shared human experience. The project was formed around the idea that, for most of history, music has existed as a communal act, an excuse to gather, to feel something collectively, whether through shared prayer, celebration, or everyday ritual.
Founded by Ryan Jones after years of living abroad and immersing himself in sampling and global vocal traditions, Every Us draws inspiration from the diverse ways people sing outside of traditional performance spaces. The project seamlessly blends modern production with layered group vocals and sampled voices from non-traditional, everyday moments, reintroducing soul, warmth, and collective emotion into contemporary music. The name Every Us reflects a desire to capture the feelings that emerge across every version of “us,” emphasizing connection over individuality.
More than a singular artist, Every Us functions as a community-driven collective. Through live events and collaborations across NYC and Brooklyn, the project has brought together over 200 artists spanning folk, R&B, jazz, and electronic music, with a strong focus on uplifting new voices and fostering creative exchange. With releases rolling out and an EP on the horizon, Every Us continues to explore what it truly sounds like to find “your people”—creating music that feels shared, lived-in, and deeply human.
Past acts and collaborators include Olivia Reid, Michael Tighe (Jeff Buckley, Adele, Mark Ronson), Charlie Klasfield (Clean Bandit, Branchez), and guitarist Dan Sagher (Charlie Burg). Filmmakers include Talia Light Rake (Sundance, Tribeca Festival) and Frank Sun (Peloton, The Olympics).
Every Us will release their debut EP, Some Kind of We, in Spring 2026.
